Scriptures: Luke 17:20-21, Romans 14:17
The kingdom of God has no boundaries! God's kingdom is a work of His spirit in our lives, it is not an institution or program. What happens in our hearts defines the kingdom's progress, the apostle Paul wrote it this way: "The kingdom of God is righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost."
Jesus wants you to have three things in your life:
1) An Increase in Joy: Acts 13:52 says: "And the disciples were filled with joy, and with the Holy Ghost." Joy and being filled with the Holy Spirit go together. Joy is defined as a condition of high pleasure or delight, happiness and gladness. Through the Holy Spirit, God can change the condition of our hearts! He can increase our joy!
2) Personal Empowerment: Esphesians 1:19, in the New Living Translation, says: "I pray that you will begin to understand the incredible greatness of His power for us who believe Him." God's incomparable power is available to help those who believe. The world can not offer this power to us! God is offering "divine power for daily living," He is offering righteousness.
3) Mind Enrichment: Proverbs 23:7 says: "As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he." Our thinking must be right before our doing will ever be right! Philipians 4:7 says: "and the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shal keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." The next verse tells us that we need to think of these things, things of truth, honor and righteousness. Things of purity, love and admiration. Things that are of excellence and worthy of praise. When we put these things foremost in our minds God will be with us and offer us His peace.
God's kingdom has no boundaries! And its His desire that we find greater joy, righetousness and peace that comes only from His kingdom.
