Solomon was about to enter a new season of life, because his father King David was dying. Solomon, a young man, would become the next king commisioned by God to build the temple of the Lord.
Each one of us is entering or is about to enter a new season of life, because God has designed life that way. Each new season brings changes. As humans we either love or hate change, because it brings uncertainty. Change also brings growth! Change is a requirement: "for we walk by faith, not by sight." We must move forward in the midst of uncertainty.
Each new season brings challenges and challenges are the testings grounds for our faith. Whatever challenges we face we can get through them by: seeking the wisdom of the Lord and facing the challenge with humility. Challenges are a birthing ground.
Each new season births champions. We must accept the changes God wants to make in our lives and walk in faith through each new challenge humbly and obediently. Why? Because this is how champions are born.
James 4:10: "Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up."
