9/9/2010 The Rest of the WayScriptures: John 5:1-09
In these scriptures we read about the pool of Bethesda, which was a place of hope. It was a place that people came hoping to experience a miraculous healing. Gathered at this pool were crowds of sick, blind, lame and paralyzed. Jesus comes and speaks to one of the men. This man had been suffering for thirty-eight years and Jesus asks him the question: "Would you like to get well?" The man answers Jesus this way: "I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool." This man was so crippled that he could go no further on his own, but he came and camped as near as he could to a place of hope. God met him there! Jesus took him the rest of the way! He was healed that day! Ask yourself the question: Are you ready to experience the miraculous power of God? You need to get as close to the hope of healing that your condition will allow you. Jesus will meet you there and take you the rest of the way. You cannot lose the hope that God will meet you where you are and take you the rest of the way to your healing and delieverance.
