Scriptures: Proverbs 19:20-21, I Kings 5:5, 2 Chronicles 5:1
There is a cost in life for doing nothing! No one arrives at their God-given destination in life by accident: without a plan we begin to drift away from our dreams. Satan wants to destroy our dreams and the best way for that to happen is for us to do nothing. Without an action plan we will never arrive at our destination. Because of the nature of sin, we do not naturally drift toward God or His plan for our lives. We must begin a proactive counter effort. We must develop a plan to reverse the natural direction of our lives. A roap map which leads to our God-given destination: maps offer many roads to a common destination. King Solomon demonstrated wisdom in his early days as king. His God-given destination was to rebuild God's temple. Solomon had a clear objective: to build God a house. He made preparation to build, because He knew the temple would not build itself. Solomon did not over-spiritualize his dream. He gathered the necessary resources, organized the people, designed the facility and created a schedule. With this plan, he completed his project. We need to make a plan to fulfill the dreams God has placed in our hearts. With a plan, action and God's direction we become exactly who Christ desires us to be. Comments are closed.
