5/13/2014 Connect to Your DestinyScriptures: Exodus 4:1-5 What do you think God has in mind for your life? Is your life all about education, money, marriage and death? Our lives move in the direction of our most dominant thoughts. There are thoughts which drown out your voice of destiny: thoughts of shame, thoughts of sorrow, thoughts of happiness and stereotypes. God has a reason for why you are here on earth: the very inner purpose of your life. It take His thoughts to get us headed in the right direction. Your destiny is not based on what you do not have! Moses was destined to be a leader and not just a leader of the Eguyptians. When he lost his place in Egypt he also lost his confidence and argued with God about his destiny. God knew Moses needed something tangible which could help him fulfuill his destiny. He had the shepherd's rod: a tool, a symbol of his work and symbol of his present life became an instrument of blessing. It was the rod of wonders or just a walking stick, but that would depend on Moses. Are you connected to your destiny? The Bible says: "I have seen servants on horses, while princes walk on the ground like servants." We can be living below our God ordained destiny. Moses was a great leader, but first he was bossing around sheep! What does God have planned for your future? God's way must become your most dominant thoughts: then you can get headed in the direction of your direction. Moses' rod became a serpent. God has given you some gifts and talents which were given to you to fulfill your destiny, but what you possess can be a serpent or an instrument of blessing, its all in how you use them.
